Personnality: Quiet but mischievous; people tend to underestimate him. He was a wonderful teacher and a very nice man but he has a failing and his failing is that he does like to be liked and that's where he slips up because he has been disliked so often that he's always so pleased to have friends so he cuts them and awful lot of slack

History: When he was a very small boy when bitten by a werewolf named Fenrir Greyback.When he started at Hogwart's, he didn't have many friends but after befriending James and Sirius, they figured out he turned into a werewolf and developed Animagi skills to accompany him during his transformations. He served as a prefect during his 5th, 6th and 7th years and in the 6th he created the Marauder's Map with James, Sirius and Peter.Once out of school, he spent most of his life trying to hold down jobs as it was hard for him to find work when he was required to divulge that information to any prospective employer. Later he became the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher during Harry's 3rd year at Hogwart's and taught him how to perform the Patronus Charm. The wolfsbane potion was created at this time to help him keep his mind when he was a werewolf, keeping him a lot less dangerous during this time. When he quit Hogwart's after Snape outted him as a werewolf to the school, he began on work for the Order of the Phoenix and little is know about this year. He moved into Number 12 Grimmauld Place toward the beginning of Harry's 5th year and worked with the rest of the Order.

Personnality: Draco is something of a whiner, or at least he is not above using a relatively minor injury to his own advantage. Draco is constantly frustrated by the attention given to Harry.He is a good student, although he wishes that Hogwarts actually taught how to perform Dark Magic, not just defend against it. He is a very capable Quidditch Seeker.

History: Draco Malfoy is the son and only child of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoyand was a student at Hogwarts in the same year as Harry Potter.He is a rival of Harry, actively trying to undermine him in any way he can. Draco has white-blond hair and a pale, pointed face. He owns an eagle owl which made almost daily deliveries of sweetsfrom home. Draco became the Slytherin Quidditch Seeker after his father made a generous donation of Nimbus 2001 brooms to the team. The 1996 imprisonment of Draco's father had a profound effect on his life. His father's failure to obtain the Prophecy from the Department of Mysteries infuriated Voldemort. Unfortunately for Draco, Voldemort's attention turned to Lucius' only son. Sometime after his 16th birthday in June, Voldemort gives Draco an assignment that no adult had been able to achieve: circumvent Hogwarts' security, and the murder of Albus Dumbledore. Draco was probably also made a Death Eater at this time.

Personality: Hermione acts, at times, like the mother hen of the trio. She is very studious, and can be a bit bossy and fussy. She's the best student in her year and one of the best in the school, and is often teased and admired in equal measure for her "know-it-all" tendencies. Harry, Ron and especially Neville depend on her for academic help; and her knowledge, research skills, and common sense often prove invaluable in overcoming the trio's more serious challenges.

Hermione always goes the extra mile when completing homework assignments, handing in four feet of parchment when she was only asked for two, carrying out independent research and regularly reading ahead of the class. Upon her very first meeting with Harry and Ron, she announces to them that she's, "learnt all our set books off by heart, of course, I just hope it will be enough."

This excessive studying and determination to be the best at everything often reflects Hermione's deep seated insecurity, a fear of failure that can give way to irrational panic and anxiety. Given that she receives top grades in all of her O.W.L. exams in her fifth year (except for Defence Against the Dark Arts, where she received the second-highest grade) this panic would appear to be misplaced.

History:Hermione is Muggle-born, that is, the child of two non-magical parents, Mr and Mrs Granger . They are both dentists and, according to Rowling, "they are a bit bemused by their odd daughter but quite proud of her all the same." Rowling noted she initially considered giving Hermione a younger sister, but now says it's "too late." Therefore, it's usually considered canon that Hermione is an only child.

Hermione has brown eyes and, when she first appears, "lots of bushy brown hair and rather large front teeth." Many at the school have teased her for her looks, including, on one occasion, Professor Snape. During the fourth book, Hermione gets her teeth shrunk to a "normal size" by magic, though her dentist parents wanted her to continue with her braces. When she applies Sleekeazy's Hair Potion and does her hair up in a chignon for the Yule Ball, even Harry and Ron notice she's pretty.

Personality: As a student at Hogwarts, Sirius was well-known for being a troublemaker, and once mentioned to Harry that he, James, Lupin, and Pettigrew "were all idiots."He once stated that he had never been appointed a prefect as he always spent too much time in detention with James. Sirius is protective of Harry, but also encourages him to take unwise risks and sometimes - inappropriately - acts with him as he used to with James. Despite being brave and loyal, Sirius is also reckless, embittered, and "slightly unbalanced by his long stay in Azkaban.

History: James Potter’s closest friend, Harry Potter’s godfather and an Animagus, Sirius Black was falsely accused of betrayal and murder and imprisoned in Azkaban.

Sirius Black was the elder of two boys born to an aristocratic family that was fiercely proud of its pureblood status and vehemently anti-Muggle. Unlike his younger brother Regulus and just about all of his ancestors, Sirius was sorted into gryffindor and rejected his family’s belief in pure-blood supremacy. By the time he was sixteen, he had completely severed ties with his family and was literally blasted off of the black family tree. Ironically, two members of the family he so reviled proved to be far braver than he thought. At Hogwarts, Sirius became close friends with fellow Gryffindors James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus J. Lupin, a werewolf. To keep Remus company in his werewolf state, the three other boys secretly became Animagi during their fifth year. Given his name, it was probably no surprise that Sirius’s Animagus form was a large black dog. At each full moon, the Marauders: Padfoot (Sirius), Prongs (James), Moony (Lupin) and Wormtail (Pettigrew) explored the school, its grounds, and even the Forbidden Forest and recorded what they learned in a magical map they called the Marauder's Map (PA18). After finishing Hogwarts, Sirius and the other three Marauders joined Dumbledore’s Order of the Phoenix, a small group of wizards and witches fighting to stop Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters’ reign of terror. During these desperate times, James Potter and Lily Evans married and started their family, unaware that a prophecy would cut their lives short. Soon after the death of James and Lily Potter, Sirius was framed by his old friend Peter Pettigrew for their betrayal and the murder of twelve Muggles during his attempt to escape Ministry law enforcement.
Twelve years later, Sirius escaped from Azkaban and convinced Harry and the Order of the Phoenix of his innocence; however, he was forced to remain a fugitive because there was no viable proof. This second captivity seems to have been more corrosive than Azkaban. Sirius chafed at his forced inaction. Harry longed for Sirius to be the father figure he craved, but Sirius seemed often more interested in regaining the camaraderie and urgency of his glory days.
Sirius was killed by his cousin Bellatrix in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries; his body fell through a mysterious veiled arch and could not be recovered (OP35).
In his youth, Sirius was good-looking in an elegant, casual way with dark hair and gray eyes; after his imprisonment he is often described as looking gaunt and unkempt.
